1st Shift/Full-Time: Monday through Friday - 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
 
With experience, make up to $25.00 per hour.
 
Summary
 
Performs dimensional, visual, or mechanical inspection of components, subassemblies, and assemblies to ensure conformance to defined specifications and standards.
 
Essential duties and Responsibilities 

Perform inspections across all stages of production.
Complete and maintain accurate inspection reports.
Check layout of tooling, dies, gauges, and templates.
Inspect purchased parts and materials.
Perform calibration of micrometers, calipers, gauges, tooling and templates per established procedures.
Qualify new products, processes and materials.
Support RMA investigations.
Identify, process, and assist with root cause investigation for nonconformances.
Disposition obvious nonconformances requiring rework or repair.
Confer with or refer critical inspection issues and scrap dispositions to supervisor.
Interface with suppliers, manufacturing personnel, and customers.
Participate in and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Completion of TMS Quality System ISO Procedures
Completion of TMS Department ISO Procedures

Minimum Physical Requirements
Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel as well as talk and hear. 
Regularly is required to stand, sit, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance. 
Regularly required to walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. 
Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. 
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
High school diploma or general education degree (GED, HSED)
Six months related experience and/or training, preferred
Work experience or training which demonstrates basic computer skills.
