The Workforce Training Center (WTC) brings together the best in workforce development and human service programming for employers, unions and community residents in the Greater Milwaukee area. The WTC, created through a unique partnership between the YWCA of Greater Milwaukee and the Wisconsin Regional Training Partnership (WRTP), is the only training facility of its kind in Wisconsin and one of few in the nation.

The Workforce Training Center develops real-work, hands-on training programs to meet the needs of specific employers in many fields including: construction, customer service, healthcare, hospitality, manufacturing and technology. Employers and unions from the public and private sector first identify their training needs. WTC partners then develop training programs with a combination of classroom instruction and hands-on training to prepare community residents to meet industry needs. The employer obtains highly trained employees and WTC trainees learn the skills necessary to succeed in their career field. With WTC, everyone wins!
