iStream is a vertically integrated payment transaction processing and solution Company, with deep roots in the payment and transaction processing space. Founded in 2004, iStream was one of the pioneers in the Remote Deposit Capture (RDC) market that developed from the passing of the Check Clearing for the 21st Century (Check 21 Act), which went in to effect on October 28, 2004. Members of the iStream Management Team played active roles in collaboration with the FDIC and others in the development of the guidelines and subsequent legislation of the Check 21 Act.


Since its inception, iStream has followed an approach based on vertical integration.
