Curative Care is a leading community resource that provides high quality services to children, adults and senior citizens with disabilities or limiting conditions at community-based sites and natural settings in Milwaukee and surrounding counties.

Founded in 1919, Curative Care offers programs and services at eight community-based sites in southeast Wisconsin.
 

Curative Care's areas of expertise:
 

  • Adult Day Services
Adult Day Services provide programming at community-based sites in Milwaukee and Waukesha Counties. Programs offer a variety of purposeful, goal-oriented activities and opportunities that promote independence for adults with disabilities.
 
  • Birth to Three Services
Birth to Three Services are offered to children with developmental delays or disabilities. Services include Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapy, Early Childhood Education and Family Service Coordination for children residing in Milwaukee County. Services are provided in natural environments and Curative-based settings.
 
  • Case Management Services
Case Management Services provide individualized support and supervision to children and adults with physical and developmental disabilities, as well as to frail elders. Staff members work in partnership with persons served and various agencies to maximize access to community resources.
 
  • Employment Services
Employment Services provide assistance to adults with disabilities or limiting conditions who are interested in paid work opportunities. Curative – Employment Center staff members offer pre-vocational training and work experience, as well as temporary and permanent placement services and job coaching in community-based businesses.
 
  • Medical Therapy Services
Medical Therapy Services for children and adults are offered through Curative New Berlin Therapies, a provider of choice that operates as part of Curative Care. Curative New Berlin Therapies specializes in all areas of child development, movement, speech and sensory needs as well as sports rehabilitation and post-concussion therapy. As a certified rehabilitation agency, Curative New Berlin Therapies offers expertise in pediatric and adult therapy services, including Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy and Massage Therapy.
 
  • Senior Services
Senior Services provide programs that enrich the lives and support the independence of older adults who have mild memory loss, dementia and/or health concerns. Curative has a medical/social model Senior Care Center in downtown Waukesha.
Curative Care is committed to measuring and reporting quality outcomes for each of its programs in an effort to assure effective and efficient services and consistently high customer satisfaction. Continuous performance improvement efforts are monitored by a full-time Quality Director and Quality Committee. As a United Way of Greater Milwaukee and Waukesha County Agency Program Partner, Curative Care also engages in a rigorous outcomes-reporting process that assures programs positively impact clients and support community goals.
