For over 90 years, Catholic Charities has been the social service arm of the Archdiocese of Milwaukee, serving all people regardless of faith, gender, ethnicity or economic background. We are committed to walking together with the poorest and most vulnerable of our brothers and sisters.

Our services and programs are offered within three Ministries:

• Adult Care Ministry offers a wide range of services for older adults who need assistance to live safely within the community and as independently as possible by providing in-home support and case management services. Catholic Charities Adult Care Centers provided quality and compassionate care to individuals with Alzheimer’s disease and various stages of dementia.

• Family & Children’s Ministry programs enhance, support and maintain the strength of family in myriad ways from family counseling, supportive parenting programs, pregnancy support counseling, adoption services, legal services to immigrants, and refugee resettlement.

• Social Justice Ministry recognizes the important contribution parishes provide and works collaboratively with parishes and other Catholic and non-Catholic organizations to serve the needy in concrete works of charity, justice and peace, especially through their Outreach Service to people who often have nowhere else to turn.

The primary goal of Catholic Charities is to assist those individuals who come to us in need…either directly through our programs and services or to lead them to the agencies that can provide the help they need.

In 2011, Catholic Charities provided services and assistance to over 19,000 families throughout the 10-county Archdiocese of Milwaukee. Most clients come on their own initiative; others are referred by friends, relatives, parish priests, physicians, or community agencies.
