Heritage Credit Union Career Opportunities

Heritage Credit Union was incorporated in 1934 in the name of Approved Credit Union. The credit union was created to serve the employees of Oscar Mayer and its name changed to Oscar Mayer Credit Union a few years later. In 1975, the credit union built an office at 1212 Huxley Street in Madison, Wisconsin. As Oscar Mayer and Company expanded its operations to other states, the credit union applied for a federal charter in order to serve these employees in other states.

In 1982, the credit union began to offer its services to other employment groups that were not affiliated with Oscar Mayer and Company. Because we were no longer exclusively serving the employees of Oscar Mayer and Company, we changed our charter from federal to state and became Heritage Credit Union.

As the years progressed, we have obtained other branch locations due to mergers, purchases and assumptions. We currently have 6 offices. These offices are located in Ladysmith, Chetek, Sauk City and Madison, Wisconsin; and Galesburg and Rockford, Illinois.
