The Survey Manager is responsible for overseeing all survey layout functions and for managing the import/export of field data, the layout of field measurements, etc. The Survey Manager helps identify plan deficiencies, maintains all survey equipment and is knowledgeable of all survey software and equipment. The Survey Manager monitors processes and procedures to Monona's expectations to ensure accuracy, quality, and field satisfaction. This is a supervisory position and includes the following job responsibilities:
Calibrates, evaluates, and maintains survey tools and equipment.
Identifies areas where technology and tools can be applied to speed up field measurements and automate the field building process.
Identifies scope expectations and prepares measurements for field.
Manages the import and export of field data, quality control plan, and field measurements.
Sets up new jobs, layout field measurements, and confirms plans match the field conditions.
The ideal candidate has a degree or equivalent industry experience in construction, engineering, or surveying technology with 7 or more years of construction and/or surveying experience. Desired certifications include CST Level IV, RLS, and/or PLS.
