Job Description
Job Summary: The Fire Protection Designer/Project Manager is responsible for designing systems, performing calculations, attending design meetings, and managing the project from beginning to end including budget, costs, schedule, risk management, quality, performance, and overall progress. Oversees assigned projects from award to close-out including planning and scheduling coordination, estimating, budgeting, and job cost reporting.  They are knowledgeable of the design software and industry codes and follows industry design practices to produce a cost efficient system that is cost effective to install and meets the customer’s needs and code requirements. 

Job Qualifications: Associate's degree in architectural or engineering technology or equivalent industry experience.  3-5 years relevant work experience.  Designer of Engineering Systems certification desired.  Understanding of building codes and NFPA standards.  3-5 years previous project management experience.
