Sewer & Drain Cleaning Technician

Job Description
Monona Plumbing and Fire Protection, Inc. is seeking a Sewer and Drain Cleaning Technician. The ideal candidate has experience in the plumbing and/or sewer industry and knowledge of plumbing and sewer equipment. A valid driver's license and acceptable driving record is required.

Duties and responsibilities include:
- Diagnose and clear drain backups using proper equipment.
- Video sewer lines using camera
- Create USB Zip drive & DVD video of sewer using DVD equipment
- Locate sewers as necessary using Rigid Locater
- Gain access to sewers through C/O or other access points
- Use small Jetter or large Trailer Jetter as necessary to properly clean lines
- Maintain sewer department equipment in good working order; repair as necessary
- Keep all sewer department equipment in clean working order
- Perform drain work on scheduled maintenance accounts
- Business Development, Build & Foster Customer Relationships
- Give report on all maintenance work to department supervisor within 24 hours of completing work
- Work closely with Service Coordinator to schedule and document service calls
- Report daily to department supervisor on all drain work, including any follow-up work or estimates needed
- Perform labor work on plumbing projects as needed
