Monona Plumbing and Fire Protection, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager Assistant (PMA) for our Plumbing Contract business unit. The PMA assists the Project Managers with administrative duties throughout the project start-up through closeout. The PMA is responsible for submittals, RFI’s, O&M Manuals, subcontracts, etc. and maintains comprehensive knowledge of the customer requirements and construction documents. The PMA follows processes and procedures efficiently and effectively to ensure accuracy on all projects and customer satisfaction.
Job Responsibilities include:
Assisting estimators with plan printing, vendor solicitation and bid delivery
Assisting with the preparation and drafting of key documents including contracts, work orders, project submittals, letters of agreement and close out forms
Attending project meetings and maintaining accurate meeting minutes
Communicating regularly with project team members and project stakeholders
Coordinating all required documentation for bidding
Creating and maintaining various tracking documents, such as monthly usage on owned equipment log
Distributing incoming plans to foreman and designer
Maintaining project files and construction documents including drawing sets, RFI logs, SI logs, field and office binders, P&D schedules, low nets, etc.
Participating in owner construction meetings to review construction progress, quality and compliance, as needed by the project manager
Participating in planning and scheduling for assigned projects
Proving financial and budget management support to the project managers and estimators
Attending Monona Way meetings, taking accurate meeting minutes, and distributing them to team members
The ideal candidate has industry experience, the ability to work with construction drawings and technical specifications, the ability to manage multiple priorities, the ability to flex with changing priorities, and is a strong team player.
