Job Description Summary: This career-driven individual will work collaboratively through the construction and project management process in support of the Project Management team to help the organization excel in achieving its mission of consistently exceeding our clients’ expectations. This is an ideal opportunity to gain hands-on experience in project management while developing leadership qualities to propel you forward in your career.  This position reports directly to the Plumbing Manager and supports the Project Managers, Estimators and Field Personnel.
 
Essential Job Responsibilities:
  • Participate in planning and scheduling for assigned projects.
  • Assist with drafting contracts, work orders and letters of agreement.
  • Assist with preparation of key documents including work orders, project submittals and close out forms.
  • Maintain project files to include all required documents including CBs, RFIs, change orders and meeting minutes.
  • Provide financial and budget management support to the Project Mangers and Estimator.
  • Attend project meetings and maintain accurate minutes.
  • Participate in site visits and evaluate project progress.
  • Create and maintain punch list documentation and revisions.
  • Maintain effective communications with project team members and project stakeholders.
  • Participate in owner construction meetings to review construction progress, quality and compliance.
 Job Knowledge and Skills:
  • Degree in the field of engineering or construction management or equivalent experience
  • Experience in BIM systems and processes desired but not required.
  • Ability to read and understand plumbing system drawings and technical specifications.
  • Field training or knowledge of site utilities, plumbing and process piping systems is helpful.
 Beneficial Skills and Experience:
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, AutoCad and/or BIM.
  • Ability to prioritize and complete necessary tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated and leadership-minded.
  • Must work well both in individual and team environments.
