Job Description
Job Summary
Fire Protection Design; training to produce accurate and effective construction plans for the purpose of generating material deliveries and field installation of fire sprinkler systems for assorted types of facilities both commercial and residential. The results-driven candidate must be able to train in a fast-paced environment. The position requires a high degree of responsibility and accountability. Time management skills, dedication to accuracy and relentless follow-through are critical for success.
Training Responsibilities:
Learn to plan and lay out fire sprinkler systems using architectural drawings to develop fire sprinkler drawings and calculations including:
- Submittals
- O&M
- As builds
- Learn to manage all changes to system design and offer thought-provoking resolutions to design challenges.
- Represent the company professionally; interact dynamically with external/internal customers and architects.

Minimum Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s or Associate degree preferred, or combination of education and experience.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD required.
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to direct and support team in the field in person or remotely
- Must work well as an individual and/or in a team environment
- Self-motivated and leadership qualities are a plus
