Position Overview:

The primary role of the Application Developer is application development for Coating Place Inc.'s business systems.


Essential Job Functions:

• Serves as an ERP System, Database, and CoSign software Administrator.
• Develops and maintains in house applications including debugging and end user training.
• Develops and documents Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and policies as needed.
• Manages SQL data backups per CPI's Data Backup SOP.
• Maintains production historical data logging system.
• Provides support to Production on an as-needed basis.
• Serves as a backup for the phone system, Intranet, and other computer hardware and software technical support questions.
• Follows all CPI cGMP practices, policies, and procedures.
• Follows all CPI safety practices, policies, and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education/Skills/Knowledge Required:

• Minimum of an Associate's degree in Information Technology or related field. Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in Application Development or similar role.
• Strong analytical skills.
• SQL Development using TSQL and other scripting tools.
• Familiarity with .Net Framework, Crystal Reports, and VBA.
• Familiarity with  Programming Languages (e.g. C+, Perl, C#) desirable.
• Comprehensive written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail and problem solving skills required.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with team members, co-workers, and/or clients.
