Job Summary
The Senior Project Manager is responsible for the day to day operations of all projects, including the
supervision of project support staff. The incumbent will monitor construction and financial activities
through the Project Managers and is responsible for project scheduling, reviewing contracts, review
of budgets and budget adjustments, etc. The Senior Project Manager creates project opportunities
through relationship building and business development and ensures all projects that qualify follow
"The Monona Way" and monitors processes and procedures to Monona's expectations to ensure
accuracy, quality, and profitability of all projects and customer satisfaction.
Job Responsibilities
Communicates regularly with senior leaders of MPFP, other managers and other designated contacts within the organization.
Creates opportunities through relationship building and business development activities.
Reviews and executes subcontract agreements.
Fosters relationships with stakeholders, including General Contractors, to ensure customer satisfaction.
Serves as a resource to plumbing team, delegates tasks, manages performance, mentors and trains
Maintains current, accurate and organized files.
Manages project schedule.
Provides direction and guidance to PMs on proposals and estimates, including change orders.
Reviews and approves final design build project plans and budget management.
Reviews bids, contracts, and amendments to determine risk on potential projects.
Visits jobsites on a periodic basis and conducts a review of field progress with the project manager
and field supervisor.
Supports a workplace culture that emphasizes the Purpose, Vision, and Values of the organization in support of "The Monona Way".
Identify new bid opportunities.
