Job Description
POSITION OVERVIEW
The primary role of the Technical Support person is to field help desk calls and support the day-to-day end user computer operations at CPI.Coating Place, Inc. pays a $1,000 Sign-On Bonus for new employees after completing one year of employment.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Point of contact for all Help Desk calls
- Support end user computer hardware, software, and phones
- Maintain Asset Tracking database
- Assist in user training on software and devices
- Analyze ongoing issues and propose long-term solutions
- Other Duties as assigned
EDUCATION/SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED
- Associates Degree in Computer Science or related field or currently enrolled in related program
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent analytical skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Microsoft Windows 7/8
- Microsoft Office 2010
- Microsoft SharePoint 2010
- Networking (CompTIA equivalent)
- Computer Basics (CompTIA equivalent)
- Familiar with Domain infrastructure on Windows Server 2008 and up
- Understanding of Virtualization concepts (Microsoft Hyper-V, VMware, XENserver)
