The Pool Cashier is responsible to check in patrons and assist them with any monetary transactions. Check in times could include early morning as well as evening hours. The Pool Cashier is also responsible for providing needed customer service to patrons and pool employees.
Reports to: Aquatics Program Director
Essential Job Functions: 1. Responsible for the check in and check out procedures for patrons 2. Collect fees from patrons 3. Complete appropriate forms at the conclusion of each shift 4. Ensure the facility opens and closes on time 5. Monitors entry areas for safety and security 6. Follow facility rules and regulations in all areas 7. Report incidents or accidents 8. Respond to emergencies, following the facility emergency action plan 9. Ensure the facility is properly secured at closing time
Marginal Job Functions: All other duties assigned which relate to the functions of the job
Job Requirements Qualifications: 1. Age 18 or older to comply with the Child Labor laws for working before 7 AM on school days 2. Responsible for the accurate accounting of money 3. Availability to work the various Pool Cashier scheduled hours 4. Experience working with a cash register is preferred 5. Customer service experience 6. Excellent communication skills 7. Possess leadership skills 8. Ability to work well with others 9. Ability to respond to emergencies in a professional and mature manner
Requirements of Essential Functions: Occasional (1-33%) bending, pushing, pulling, lifting, walking, squatting reaching and stair climbing in order to perform essential job functions
