We are actively seeking a dynamic individual to take the reins in shaping the strategy, design, and implementation of our Total Rewards, Compensation, Payroll, HR Systems & Technology, and People Operations functions. In partnership with the EVP and Chief People Officer, the VP of Talent, and the VP of DEI, your primary responsibility will be to ensure that our Total Rewards offerings not only attract top talent but also foster a workplace culture that aligns with our business strategies.

Responsibilities
    Accountable for the development and leadership of the total rewards strategy ensuring offerings are cost effective and competitive while delivering a positive employee experience and high employee engagement.
  • Oversee all compensation programs including staff, management and executive-level base and variable pay programs ensuring programs are equitable, competitive, and relevant to attract and retain top talent.
  • Accountable for the success and evolution of the Total Rewards programs targeted at retaining talent, driving our competitive advantage, and the engagement of employees.
  • Responsible for the development, execution and oversight of the overall HRMS Technology Strategy and roadmap for the organization.
  • Identify, develop, and implement key HR systems and process initiatives across multiple platforms.
  • Oversee the successful delivery deployment and adoption of complex UKG projects that require complex stakeholder management.
  • Accountable for identifying, deploying and optimizing resulting in streamlined and scalable solutions and processes.
  • Provide strategic guidance to define and implement an ideal HR service delivery model to maximize resources and effectively deliver People Strategies and Solutions (PSS) inquires and requests.
  • Works collaboratively with the People Strategies and Solutions Leadership Team (PSSLT) and stakeholders within and outside of PSS to continually review, adapt and elevate the People Team's service delivery structure to meet changing business needs.
  • Leads the PSSLT to review, develop and deliver solutions to improve processes, gain efficiencies and effectiveness of processes and programs that have direct impact on the employee experience and that align with business priorities and further enhance the employee experience. This includes onboarding, off-boarding, leaves, digital and self-service initiatives.
  • Leads and executes complex, cross-functional PSS projects for the enhancement of operational efficiencies, employee experience, new or enhanced system functionality.
  • Provide leadership to the PSS team in the development of innovative programs and initiatives to support an outstanding employee experience that supports a highly engaged and performing workforce.
  • Develop success criteria, analytics, and metrics ensuring alignment with and support the Total Rewards, People Operations and HR Technology priorities.
  • Develop, review, and recommend new functionality, methods, and procedures to increase departmental efficiency and/or enhance the employee experience.
  • Collaborates with the VP of Talent and VP of DEI to develop processes that create an inclusive workplace that supports the recruitment and retention of talent.
  • Supports the EVP and CPO in the development, planning and execution of the PSS People Strategy and annual business plan which supports the strategic direction of the organization.
  • Actively participates in the PSS annual planning process. Leads and establishes plan for the Total Rewards, People Operations and HR Technology areas each year. Ensures individual team members have individual goals that align with the PSS initiatives and workplan items.
  • Partners with the VP of Talent and VP of DEI in the interpretation, development and maintenance of policies and procedures. Takes lead on policies and procedures related to Total Rewards, HR Technology and People Operations.
  • Interact with vendors and external partners to create and maintain relationships and negotiate contracts.
  • Lead the organization through regular benchmarking to analyze and assess market data, industry trends and best practices to create market competitive rewards package.
  • Develop, manage, and analyze the annual PSS Total Rewards and People Operations budget, monitoring monthly expenses and forecasting any anticipated variances.
  • Provides leaders, direction, and professional development opportunities to members of the PSS department in their roles.
  • Advises, counsels, and educates management, PSS staff and employees about Total Rewards, HR Technology and People Operations.

Qualifications

These skills and experiences are essential to your success:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 10+ years of progressive human resources work experience in the area of total rewards, HR Technology, operations, and/or compliance.
  • 6-7 years of experience managing or supervising employees
  • Experience with self-funded plan design, implementation, and on-going review including innovative approaches to managing employer costs while enhancing employee experience, service and quality of care.
  • Working knowledge of federal and state employment laws.
  • Advanced knowledge with HRMS database design, structure, functions, and processes.
  • Experience leading or working with an HR Service Delivery Model/People Operations structure.
  • Demonstrated ability to promote a supportive working environment where teammates are encouraged to proactively address issues and solve problems.
  • High emotional intelligence and strong relationship management skills with demonstrated ability to establish effective working relationships and accomplish objectives.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to quickly a adapt to changing priorities and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Strong project management skills with demonstrated ability to plan, organize, coordinate, and direct multiple activities with varied deadlines and deliver on time.
  • Effective decision making and problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound judgments and take the initiative to establish priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills with ability to communicate with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative, team environment with ability to communicate in a tactful, mature, and flexible manner.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking skills with the ability to analyze complex systems issues and recommend creative, practical, and high-impact solutions. Proactive problem solver.
  • Ability to write procedures and job aids and write & explain technical data in a manner easy to understand by non-technical teammates.
  • Strong leadership skills with proven ability to develop and coach high performing employees.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with strict confidence.

These attributes and knowledge are preferred but not required:

  • Masters degree
  • SHRM, SPHR, or other HR certification highly desired
