Summary of Objective:

The Clinical Engineering Intern will be using SolidWorks to reverse engineer or design improvements for Clinical production equipment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The essential duties and responsibilities include the following but other duties may be assigned.

Design and implement new and replacement tooling. Design fixtures for maintenance to aid set-ups. Organize tooling as needed to aid the tool room and clean room for quicker output. Work with PRT's and Engineering for the development of tooling and fixtures to aid set-ups and improve product quality and reduce change over time. Improve the cleaning and storage process for EAS blistering and OE (Over-Encapsulation) tooling. Knowledge of and adherence to all PCI, cGMP, and GCP policies, procedures, and rules. Attendance to work is an essential function of this position. Performs other duties as assigned by Manager/Supervisor.

Required:

  • Working toward a Bachelor's Degree in related field.
  • College Level Math Skills
  • Advanced Computer Skills: Ability to perform the most complex computer tasks and operate various computer programs.
  • Full Professional Proficiency: Ability to speak, read, and write fluently and accurately on all levels pertinent to professional needs.
  • High Reasoning: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where there is only limited standardization. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions that may be provided in various forms.
