Safety Intern - Summer 2024

Under the direction of the Vice President of Risk and Loss Control, responsibilities will include assisting with any duties or projects assigned by the Vice President of Risk and Loss Control or the Safety Managers.

Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Review and update Job Safety Analyses.
  • Help implement Safety programs such as Confined Space and Respirator Programs.
  • Conduct incident investigations.
  • Assist with new hire orientation preparation.
  • Preform other duties as assigned by the Vice President of Risk and Loss Control and Safety Mangers.

What You Can Offer

  • Current enrollment in an undergraduate degree program related to the Safety profession or a National Safety Council program.

  • Previous working experience in a Manufacturing setting is preferred.

  • Must have excellent problem-solving abilities.

  • Must have good typing skills.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Office products.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
