As a Regional Property Manager, you will:
  • Provide excellent customer service to our current and prospective residents.
  • Lead the property management team, including, recruit, hire, train and evaluate team members.
  • Assure the communities within your portfolio maintain compliance with government regulations.
  • Review monthly financial statements and prepare variance reports.
  • Complete regular inspections to ensure that communities are operating in an efficient, cost-effective, and fiscally responsible manner.
  • Recommend and implement annual operating goals, market programs, rental rates, and maintenance programs.
  • Travel to the properties that you support.
  • Negotiate service contracts for the communities.
  • Act as Property Manager for one or more communities in the absence of on-site management.
  • Determine prospective resident's needs through phone calls, apartment tours, and internet marketing using selling techniques.
  • Maintain relationships with partners, resident service coordinator, and community.
  • Adhere to established Fair Housing policies.

Regional Property Manager Qualifications:
  • Must have a valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout the Wisconsin/Illinois area.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Five years Property Management or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Experience in Section 8, HUD, Public Housing, or LIHTC required.
  • Experience working with vulnerable populations including homeless, developmentally disabled, veterans, and a wide variety of cultures.
  • Travel required.
  • Confident, positive, and friendly with the ability to connect with a wide range of people.
  • Ability to multitask and be collaborative.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Computer skills and experience with MS Office.
