Paying bills (including mortgages, insurance, regular AP etc.)
Making Deposits
Distributing Capital
Reconciling bank statements
Generating monthly accrual basis financial statements, including journal entries
Processing security deposit dispositions
Taking tenant calls and communicating with property owners
General office duties
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE NEEDED
Rent Manager – industry specific software for tenant ledgers and financials, correspondence and reports
Microsoft Office – some spreadsheet work and document preparation
2 year accounting degree or commensurate experience
Willing to work overtime as needed; particularly January when working on year-end financials and August with student turnover. There is mandatory overtime in these 2 months.
