Position Identification

Clinical Research Assistant II

Position Purpose

Under general supervision, assist in various administrative and data collection aspects of clinical research studies.

Primary Functions

Assist with study subject recruitment, including posting fliers, calling possible participants, and sending emails.

Schedule appointments for study participants.

Collect medical information from subject participants and screen for study participation.

Order and maintain log of stipend checks and/or gift certificates to be distributed to study participants. Verify accuracy of bills and stipends.

Contact patients as required after initial contact to obtain and provide additional information.

Provide general administrative support, including:

  • Collecting and entering data into clinical research forms and computerized databases
  • Organizing and scheduling meetings including agendas and meeting notes
  • Organizing study participant charts and files, and distribute appropriately
  • Maintaining data records and consent forms

Assist with human research studies, including:

  • Assembling and preparing required devices
  • Obtaining consent
  • Assisting with recording study results
  • Maintaining the equipment


Preferred Schedule:
Full-time role with expectations for coverage during core business hours and flexibility required as necessary to accommodate business needs.
