Job Description

We are seeking a 1st Shift, Inventory Control Team member for our customer, County Materials Corporation.

Job Duties:

  • Monitors and maintains min/max stocking inventory levels, pre-receiving of orders as required, and investigates problems.
  • Records purchases, maintains database, performs physical count of inventory, and reconciles actual stock count to computer-generated reports.
  • Resolves purchasing order entry ticket discrepancies.
  • Processes and documents returns as required following established procedures.
  • Performs routine clerical duties, including data entry, answering telephones, and assisting customers.
  • May lead, guide, and train staff/student employees, interns, and/or volunteers performing related work; may participate in the recruitment of volunteers, as appropriate to the area of operation.
  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
  • Establishes stocking levels on manufactured items.
  • Communicate effectively with Team Members from other departments.

Work Environment:

  • Office working environment. - 50%
  • Outside working environment. - 50%

Physical Requirements:

  • Sitting frequently.
  • Carrying/Lifting 10 - 40 Pounds rarely.
  • Standing / Walking / Climbing.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1 year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
  • Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
  • Basic computer skills.
