Position Title: Controller
Salary: Based on Experience
A Controller job in Reedsburg, WI is available through Accelerate Professional Talent Solutions. This role requires candidates to have 7+ years of progressive accounting experience with some experience in a management role. This position will oversee the preparation of financial statements and reports, manage financial systems, and oversee the development of internal auditing. This position will also manage the company budget, communicate with leadership on company financial status, and oversee the development of accounting staff.
Controller Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Direct accounting activities of the dept.
- Manage financial systems.
- Oversee internal and external auditing.
- Develop and manage the company budget.
- Assist with the company planning process.
- Oversee staff development.
- Monitor cost standards, capital expenditures and depreciation rates.
Controller Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required
- 7+ years of progressive accounting experience with some experience in a management role.
- CPA certification preferred.
- Experience with ERP and accounting software.
- Strong financial planning and reporting, forecasting, and budgeting experience.
