Job Description

Excellent compensation starting at $18.50 with a shift differential of $1.50.

Work schedule includes 4 9-hour days, with Friday requiring only 4 hours if overtime is not required.

This position operates CNCs, lathes, or mills to manufacture seals made out of PTFE plastic.

  • Operate CNC lathe or mill per standard work instructions
  • Can read Vernier calipers, micrometers, and blueprints.
  • Make necessary tooling adjustments.
  • Set up standard jobs with little or no assistance
  • Can set up existing standard programs. Also, some non-standards with minimal assistance
  • Can troubleshoot and resolve basic problems.
  • Perform preventive and basic maintenance on required equipment.
  • Actively participate and support the plant's safety program. Report any injury or near hit immediately to your Lead or HR Manager. Report any unsafe conditions immediately to a Lead, Safety Manager or HR Manager.
  • Actively participate in the High-Performance Team designated in your area. The HPTs are meant to improve the work experience by allowing employees the opportunity to offer suggestions for improvement.
  • Record accurate and timely data, including order completions and quantity on daily labor reports, reclaim tickets, for reject parts and daily hours worked reports.
  • Maintain a safe, clean and orderly work area. Keep all walkways and aisles free of any debris or clutter. Maintain 5S standards by returning tools to shadow boards. Sweep floor and finishing area as needed.
  • Daily attendance is a requirement of the job as is arriving on time. Overtime is expected when customer demands dictate the need.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) - Required

Associate degree (2-year college or technical school) - Preferred

Experience: 1+ years of experience in CNC Operation - Preferred
