100% FTE, days. Scheduled shifts Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Additional hours may be required to meet operational needs. This is a hybrid position.

We are seeking an Employee Relations Consultant for the Office of Provider Services (Provider Services Consultant) to:

  • Establish strong working relationships with physicians (clinical faculty, residents, and fellows) and leadership across the UW Health system.
  • Provide strategic and tactical consultation and resolution on a wide variety of complex matters involving physicians across the organization.
  • Lead the intake, investigation, processing, and resolution of physician- related issues and complaints, including investigations of discrimination, harassment, and caregiver misconduct.
  • Create content for physician training and facilitate such training where appropriate.
  • Primarily supports clinical faculty, residents, and fellows, but will also support Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) as needed.

Education:

Minimum - Undergraduate degree in business, Human Resources or related field.

Preferred - Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited college or university.

Work Experience:

Minimum - Five (5) years employee relations or other related investigatory experience.

Preferred - Seven (7) to ten (10) years of employee relations or other related investigatory experience in an academic medical center, with significant experience working with physicians.
