JOB PURPOSE AND REPORTING STRUCTURE: Under the Behavioral Health Clinic Manager, the Psychotherapist provides mental health and substance use therapy in the behavioral health clinic. The Psychotherapist provides clinically appropriate care from intake to discharge, in accordance with agency policies and procedures.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Requires a masters degree in a job related major and post degree state licensure, which may include a training license (Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Licensed Professional Counselor-In Training, Advanced Practice Social Worker).
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Licensed as a clinical social worker or a professional counselor.
