    Ashley has a bachelor’s degree in marketing from the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater. Born in Hawaii, Ashley was raised in Wisconsin and now lives with her husband in Sheboygan Falls, Wisconsin. She enjoys cooking, reading, and spending time with her family and friends.

    Azure Mahara is both an Associate Marketing Manager and a Community Partners Manager at LocalJobNetwork.com (LJN). Azure contributes to a variety of marketing initiatives that use digital and traditional media platforms. She is also responsible for managing and growing the LJN Community Partners program to better connect diverse job seekers with employers.

    After graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, Azure had an internship at The Onion. At LJN, Azure hosts a series of podcasts that focus on local community organizations and the assistance they offer.

    Azure was born in Colorado, but calls Wisconsin home. She currently resides in Milwaukee with her husband. She has a passion for photography and is an all around outdoor enthusiast.

  • Bill OsterndorfBill Osterndorf
    William A. Osterndorf is President and founder of HR Analytical Services and has been working with affirmative action/equal opportunity issues for the last 25 years in the public and private sectors. Bill specializes in developing and writing affirmative action plans and has extensive experience in preparing companies for reviews by the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP), the federal agency that monitors contractor compliance with affirmative action regulations. He was the chief architect of the Society for Human Resource Management's position statement on applicants and has helped SHRM draft responses to a variety of OFCCP proposals. Bill has given presentations and webinars on the OFCCP's "Internet Applicant" rule and on other affirmative action-related issues for a variety of audiences. He is a former President of the Milwaukee SHRM chapter, and is the current chair for the Milwaukee Industry Liaison Group (ILG).

    Carly Rubach hosted employment-related radio programs at LocalJobNetwork.com (LJN) that often highlighted technology. She is a graduate from the University of Missouri-Columbia with a BA in journalism. Carly previously worked as a communications associate at LocalJobNetwork.com and as a project manager at Maelstrom Solutions. She is now the manager of The Coffee House in Burlington, Wisconsin where she is leveraging her marketing and social media skills.


    While Carly has great affection for her hometown of Roselle, Illinois, she now lives in Milwaukee, Wisconsin with her fiancée. She enjoys DIY projects, cooking, camping, and biking. The LJNRadio team wishes Carly well in her new pursuits!


  • Carmen CoudenCarmen Couden
    Carmen N. Couden is an associate with Foley & Lardner LLP. She is a member of the firm’s Labor & Employment Practice and Automotive Industry Team. As part of her practice, Ms. Couden represents employers in investigatory proceedings before state agencies and in legal actions in federal and state court.

    During law school, Ms. Couden participated as a summer associate with Foley & Lardner LLP. She also interned with the Johnson County Attorney’s Office in Iowa City, Iowa, where she served as first chair on simple misdemeanor bench and jury trials and negotiated numerous plea agreements.

    George Blomgren is the co-host of "Zen & The Art Of Recruiting." George earned a Bachelor's degree from Beloit College, studied at the University of Glasgow in Scotland, and pursued graduate studies in business and marketing at Cardinal Stritch University. As Recruiting Solutions Director at MRA-The Management Association, George helps MRA members optimize their recruiting practices to effectively attract top talent. His first job at age 11 involved a summer spent reorganizing the stock room of a small local office supply store. His career since then has taken a lot of turns, a fact he never regrets. George recommends books by Seth Godin to both job seekers and recruiters. Be a purple cow!

    Jacquelyn Peterson is an Assistant Director at LocalJobNetwork.com (LJN). She has extensive experience helping employers with all aspects of recruiting and offers OFCCP government compliance solutions for small companies with limited budgets to complex organizations with multi-state locations.

    Jacquelyn has a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism and a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing. After brief experiences working at local news networks KOLD and WTMJ, Jacquelyn joined LocalJobNetwork.com. Jacquelyn now leads the Communications Department at LJN, and she is the host of various radio shows on LocalJobNetwork.com Radio from interviewing tips to government compliance. Jacquelyn contributes to monthly webinars for employers on government compliance and writes for the LJN publication, The OFCCP Digest.

    Jacquelyn is a member of the Chicago and Milwaukee chapters of the Industry Liaison Group (ILG). Speaking on the topics of recruiting, government compliance, and OFCCP, she has presented to WI SHRM, Metro Milwaukee SHRM, Milwaukee ILG, and Madison ILG.

    Jacquelyn is a native of Tucson, Arizona. She currently resides with her husband in Chicago, Illinois. She enjoys biking, golfing, reading non-fiction, and cooking.
