A government agency is contracting for the maintenance and enhancements of the Submittal Portal and Internal Dashboard in addition to other IT systems as needed. The ideal candidate would have experience with systems architecture, user interfaces, ASP.NET C# MVC skills using MS Visual Studio 2015, in addition to having experience with Oracle and DNR development standards. Responsibilities would include maintenance and enhancement of program applications and support of database. The candidate must have proven work experience with application development, user interface development for web applications and database development. The person hired for this position must work closely with other developers to create road maps for applications, align development plans, and ensure effective integration among information systems and the IT infrastructure. An important part of the position will be to understand the interactions between systems, applications, and services within the environment, and evaluate the impact of changes or additions.

The candidate should be motivated to stay on top of technological advancements to ensure that solutions are continuously improved, supported, and aligned with industry and agency standards as well as emerging business requirements. The candidate must understand user and process requirements and ensure those requirements can be achieved through high quality deliverables. Communication and organization skills are key for this position, along with a problem solving attitude. The candidate for this position will need to rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals and be able to perform a variety of tasks. This position will have moderate supervision with latitude for independent judgment.
