As Senior Design Engineer, you'll lead cross-functional teams from engineering, purchasing, marketing, and manufacturing to design and develop new products. You'll be involved in all stages of the development life cycle, from initial concept generation through to final delivery and support as a valued member of the engineering team.

As the Senior Design Engineer, you will be responsible for new product design and major redesign projects. To accomplish this you will lead a cross-functional team through the entire product development cycle from concept to full production implementation. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining timelines, project budgets, resource management, design development, and compliance with established processes and procedures.

• A college degree in Mechanical Engineering or other technical degree, with 10-15 years’ experience in product design with Six Sigma and Black Belt certification, highly desirable.
• Demonstrated experience in leading design projects from concept through launch and into production
• Experience communicating throughout all levels of an organization
• Must be experienced in 3D CAD modeling
• Familiarity with building sciences and HVAC dynamics
• Able to use DFSS and DMAIC tools and processes
• Able to effectively communicate with the organization
• Ability to design parts and products using materials including plastics and sheet metal.
• Ability to design and implement electromechanical systems
• Ability to solve product, process and product application problems using sound problem solving techniques
• Creative and innovative mindset
• Detail oriented
• Strong sense of urgency
• Ability to coordinate and handle multiple priorities
