Responsibilities | Install Technician (Banking Specialist) 1)Installation of systems -Efficiently and safely travels to installation sites within the state of Wisconsin and Upper Michigan. -Maintains clean and efficient work site at both existing and new construction sites -Ensures that all equipment and tools left on site are stored/protected in a secure location and/or manner. -Troubleshoots and identifies problems and develops a repair plan. -Makes sure there is a quality control check on all installations. -Provides thorough description of work performed and completion of paperwork including parts, labor, travel, mileage, etc. -Reports any safety or site concerns to supervisor or Operations Manager in timely manner. -Other duties as assigned by supervisor. 2)Electronics -Provides office with zoning/programming information in efficient manner -Leaves copy of zoning, layout and programming information on-site in control cabinet and/or with end user. 3)Banking Equipment -Utilizes appropriate equipment/safety devices as required. -Verifies proper operation of equipment including door swing, blower run time, audio clarity, lock operation, combination operation and/or setting, drawer limit switches, key all safe deposit box door and verify open/close, under counter steel drawers, etc. 4)Accountability -Maintains and respects company vehicle, parts, tools, manuals, and all other property for safe and efficient operation. -Maintains accurate and sufficient vehicle inventory for territory. |
Skills | -Strong mechanical abilities are required -Strong problem-solving skills required -Ability to troubleshoot electronic and mechanical problems -Insurability (vehicle) is required -Ability to proficiently drive with a trailer -Ability to proficiently drive delivery truck -Fork Lift experience (certification) a plus -Requires both interior and exterior work in all weather conditions -Ability to use hand tools and various electronic meters/equipment -Requires frequent ladder (step and extension) usage -Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics -Strong interpersonal and communication skills -Requires flexible schedule including occasional after-hours and weekend work -Physical demand requires 100% use of senses and limbs and the ability to lift 100 lbs. - standing, bending, stooping, and climbing are also required - driving for long periods of time (4 hours or more) may frequently be necessary |
