Position Overview:

The Facility Operator performs the regular and recurring cleaning of the CPI facility, launders CPI uniforms/filters, and other miscellaneous tasks.

Following initial training, the Facility Operator is expected to independently perform all routine assignments while following established practices, policies, and procedures per assigned work schedule.

Essential Job Functions:
  • Performs facility cleaning.
  • Washes, dries, and packages launderable equipment.
  • Launders uniforms for Production, Maintenance, and other CPI personnel required to wear uniforms.
  • Restocks consumable items throughout the CPI Facility.
  • Washes pallets/drums as required.
  • Performs facility inspection corrections as needed and assigned.
  • Follows all CPI cGMP practices, policies, and procedures.
  • Follows all CPI safety practices, policies, and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Education/Skills/Knowledge Required:
  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Knowledge of equipment, chemicals, and methods used in facility cleaning.
  • Knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Principles (cGMPs) preferred.
  • A basic understanding of the purpose and contents within the Safety Data Sheets (SDSs) preferred.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Ability to read, write (legibly), and speak the English language at a level necessary for efficient performance.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with team members, co-workers, and/or clients.
