Shop Production Manager

Job Description
We are hiring a Shop Production Manager responsible for the overall operations and effective and successful management of labor, productivity, quality control and safety measures, as established for the Production department.

Responsibilities
- Check each work station to minimize mistakes and maximize quality
- Conduct weekly safety meetings for all production staff
- Maintain Company timekeeping system to reflect PTO requests, absences and leaves.
- Ensure that all shop production staff arrive on time and are ready to begin their shift within 5 minutes of start of shift.
- Communicate with Scheduling Manager about released jobs shortcomings and propose solutions.
- Oversee development of company shop production policies and procedures.
- Ensure department is operating within the limits of the operating budget.
