The Quality Assurance Technician will assure product quality and customer satisfaction. Performs dimensional layouts and other quality checks on purchased and fabricated components and performs process capability studies. Leads continuous product and process improvements and performs root cause analysis and executes problem solving actions.
• Verifies that both purchased and internally fabricated parts and assemblies conform to specifications
• Communicates deficiencies to appropriate departments, helps perform corrective action and follow-up
• Interacts with engineering, suppliers, procurement, operations and supplier quality personnel with regard to disposition of Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) submissions. Helps identify PPAP concerns and helps resolve with support from the rest of the team.

Experienced with Surface Plate, Height Gauges, Calipers, Micrometers, Optical Comparator, Aesthetic/Appearance Requirements
Ability to read and interpret blueprints
Experience in Q.A. or extended on the job work experience in a manufacturing environment
Days/Hours: Sunday - Thursday 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM
