Cleaning, Washing, and Metal Pickling Equipment Operators and Tenders
Job Purpose:
The purpose of this job description is to outline the specific responsibilities within the context of Labor Grade 1, General Labor/Sewing Assistant. It is not intended to encompass any/all tasks required; only to further define the major areas of focus for this position.

The purpose of this job description is to outline the specific responsibilities within the context of Labor Grade 1, General Labor/Sewing Assistant. It is not intended to encompass any/all tasks required; only to further define the major areas of focus for this position.
Essential Duties and/or Responsibilities:
- Stripping Netting : utilizing tools/equipment to cut strips of netting from bulk skids/bins
- Cross-cutting Netting : utilizing tools/equipment to cut strips of netting to finished net size
- Making Bindings : utilizing tools/equipment to mark and cut bindings for sewing to nets
- Assist Sewers
- Marking pins
- Filling stringing needles
- Prepare Tie Cords
Experience and Education: High School Diploma
Knowledge and Skills Required:

- Effectively communicate verbally
- Attention to detail
- Mathematics
- Lift up to 40 pounds frequently
- Twist, bend, pull, push, squat frequently
- Stand/walk for entire work shift
