Job Description:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to provide technical assistance in our JangoPet and JangoCell subsidiaries, who will excel in a dynamic environment and enjoys taking on new scientific challenges. The candidate is expected to be a team player with a strong background in cell biology, immunology and molecular biology techniques and performance. Experience with biochemistry and analytical assay development an advantage. The research specialist will primarily assist with cell culture, hormone and immunological analyses, and flow cytometry. The candidate will have an ability to problem solve, work independently to achieve company goals, and have the capability of working on multiple projects simultaneously. This role demands a highly goal-driven approach and the ability to focus on time-sensitive objectives.

This job requires specific background and skills in:

1) Animal cell / stem cell culture, expansion, and differentiation

2) Performing cell-based assays

3) Flow cytometry

4) Immunohistochemistry/immunofluorescence

5) Immunological studies

6) Performing ELISA (Hormone assay preferable)

7) Assay development

Qualifications:

• M.S. (preferred) or B.S. in Biochemistry, Biology, Bioengineering, Cell Biology, or a related discipline, 2+ years post-graduate experience in industry or academic institution ESSENTIAL.
• Compensation package negotiable, depending on experience.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
