Job Description

Growth is a critical component of our business plan, and we are currently looking for a Field Service Technician to help us in that growth, make up to $40/ hour and up to a $5,000.000 Sign on Bonus!!!!

Field Service Technicians travel to our customer sites and locations to assist with diagnostic, troubleshooting and repair needs.

Job Duties for Field Service Diesel Mechanics

  • Responsible for troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair on all types of trucks
  • Repair and troubleshoot engines such as Cummins, Detroit Diesel or MTU.
  • Diagnose, repair, adjust, and modify all heavy duty components
  • Positive interface with service writers, foreman, parts department and customers
  • Keep paper work updated and handed in upon completion
  • Meet requirements for certifications
  • Administrative duties as related to position

Desired Skills and Qualities for Field Service Diesel Mechanics

  • Cummins Engine and Allison Transmission knowledge preferred
  • Technical degree or certification a plus
  • Positive attitude and the ability to set goals and accomplish them
  • The desire to take advantage of certification opportunities to have the most updated product training
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills

Position Requirements for Field Service Diesel Mechanics

  • Current CDL or willing to acquire one
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience working with diesel engines and heavy duty trucks
  • Able to work with diagnostic computers for troubleshooting and repairs
  • Must have your own set of general tools
  • Use computers for web based training and work order system
  • Must be physically able to lift and work with no restrictions
