Overview

As a Lead Salesforce DevOps Engineer (Remote), you will play an important role at TDS as we grow our Salesforce capabilities. We are looking for an individual who will help design/develop/test Salesforce functionality and apply the principals of continuous improvement to our Salesforce DevOps processes to deliver exceptional business results.

In this role, you will collaborate with development teams to harden our Salesforce delivery pipeline, enabling frequent and dependable releases. Excellent collaboration skills, listening skills, dependability, DevOps experience, and professionalism are key traits candidates for this role must have.

This position has the ability to work remotely in any of the 40+ States in which TDS Telecom operates.

This position is eligible for a sign-on bonus!

Responsibilities
    Streamline Salesforce release management practices to enable frequent high quality Salesforce releases
  • Lead cross functional teams to collaborate on solving Salesforce delivery challenges
  • Automate processes to deploy new and updated functionality to Salesforce environments
  • Help drive technical direction and best practices for Salesforce environment management
  • Collaborate across teams to establish organizational standards for Salesforce development, testing, and delivery practices
  • Collaborate across teams to build and implement process and policy updates
  • Create documentation to guide our department as we establish and coach best practices for Salesforce
  • Create and distribute reports and notifications to track progress and improve feedback loops
Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) -OR- 4+ years professional work experience.
  • 5+ years experience in software development or testing.

Other Qualifications

  • Knowledge of software development methodologies, practices, and tools.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies, practices, and tools.
  • Knowledge of one more programming languages used by the team.
  • Knowledge of software testing practices and tools.
  • Knowledge of problem solving techniques and tools.
  • Ability to travel as needed for company business and professional development.
  • Ability to work nights and weekends as needed for system implementations and resolving system problems.
  • Knowledge of business analysis practices and business process modeling.
  • Knowledge of quality management and quality improvement practices.
  • Knowledge of team leadership skills, practices, and behaviors.
  • Knowledge of techniques, tools, and applicable laws to conduct effective and legal interviews.
  • Knowledge of techniques for writing and presenting business proposals to management.
  • Knowledge of effective writing and public speaking skills. Ability to convey complex information to general audiences.
