Company Overview
Grüezi from The Town of New Glarus. Swiss immigrants from Glarus, Switzerland, settled New Glarus in 1845. Nestled within the rolling hills of Green County in Southern Wisconsin, New Glarus resembles the alpine farmlands of its namesake and is known today as America’s "Little Switzerland." New Glarus’ Swiss heritage is apparent in its architecture, geranium-filled flower boxes, ethnic foods and festivals. Perhaps the quiet rural setting or gorgeous backyard vistas are responsible for The Town's growth. Perhaps it’s the easy 30-minute commute to either Monroe or Madison that has attracted our new residents. Perhaps it's our schools. We like to think that it’s our Swiss Hospitality and charm that caused our population to nearly double since 1990. New Glarus is currently home to 1,314 residents.
