Job Description
Tellurian, Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse to work part time (approx. 24 hours per week - flexible schedule), at their Detoxification program located in Madison, WI. This position also has the potential to become full time if desired. This facility is a medically monitored Detox facility under HFS75. RN's work in conjunction with Human Service staff to receive, and provide services to, persons highly intoxicated or incapacitated due to alcohol abuse and require care and monitoring. The RN provides shift supervision of Human Service Assistant staff, performs assessment of the patient's condition, communicates as needed with On-call physicians, provides prescribed medications, monitors patient vital signs, and documents patient condition. RN determines whether other medical conditions may require a higher level of care than available at Detox and in such cases refers and arranges for transportation to a local hospital.
Candidate must have a current RN license in good standing with Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services
