Job Description

We are seeking a Business Development Manager who, working closely with the VP of Business Development, will be responsible for the execution and development of new business relationships with end customers and new channel partners. The Business Development Manager will take the lead on new opportunities that support LocknCharge’s overall growth strategy.

The successful candidate will be self-motivated and able to work autonomously but also in a team environment. Creativity, flexibility, enthusiasm and a willingness to learn will be important in this position. A strategic mindset is required, while also being able to execute on daily tasks. Candidates must have a demonstrated track record of success in both prospecting and closing. This position will report to the VP of Business Development and work closely with sales, marketing and product management to achieve established goals.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Research new vertical markets where our products and future products have significant potential.
  • Daily analysis and interpretation of data to help grow new markets and achieve LocknCharge’s growth goals.
  • Consistently present and communicate the LocknCharge value proposition to new prospects and partners.
  • Attend conferences and professional association meetings and promote LocknCharge product solutions and brand.
  • Prepare, train and support LocknCharge Sales and Marketing teams to scale new vertical markets and channel partners.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Five years of sales and business development experience
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills are required as is the ability to work with a diverse range of people across cultures and countries
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Highly entrepreneurial, creative, open-minded, persistent and collaborative.
  • Excellent skills in Salesforce, Excel, Presentations and other technology solutions for driving new opportunities
  • Exceptional organizational skills including prioritizing, scheduling, time management, and meeting deadlines; detail oriented
  • Outstanding analytical, written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience initiating and driving opportunities to completion with minimal guidance.
  • Ability to travel (25-50%)
