This is an entry level Channel Account Manager role.  In this key role, you will manage and drive sales opportunities while developing key reseller relatioships and partnerships. You will create and implement strategic plans focused on attaining district-wide and company-wide deployments of LocknCharge Products via an “Authorized” reseller list. You will work to develop relationships with key reseller representatives and managers while training them on the value proposition of LocknCharge solutions.
 
Responsibilities:
 
  • Work closely with other cross-functional management teams in the marketing and product groups to optimize the business opportunity
  • Use Salesforce.com as a productivity tool and record daily activity and opportunity data
  • Build meaningful partnerships with your assigned resellers. Work with various levels within a resellers' organization including Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Executive Leadership
  • Responsible for sales revenue goal achievement for specified accounts
  • Execute sales effort in an ethical and professional manner that will reflect favorably on the reputation of both the salesperson and the company
  • Generate meetings by qualifying leads from phone calls, emails, and trade shows
  • Conduct product and training presentations to resellers and end users virtually and/or in person
  • Develop new relationships with assigned accounts by networking and cold calling
  • Maintain expert knowledge of mobile device deployment products and their applications and be able to position this expertise as needed with resellers and end users
  • Ability to travel and train reseller teams, work tradeshows, and work with end-users
Qualifications / Core Competencies
  • Must be incredibly self-motivated, highly driven and have strong account management and sales skills
  • Ability to make adjustments to maintain deal velocity and momentum
  • Understanding of school districts’ procurement process with experience managing a successful bid process a plus
  • Ability to adapt to changing business issues and requirements and be creative in suggesting new approaches
  • Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills
  • CRM experience, preferably in Salesforce.com
  • Desire to provide immediate responses in an abbreviated fashion to partners
Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years in a quota carrying channel sales or account management role with demonstrated achievement
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
  • Experience as a Vendor working with Channel strongly desired
Education
  • BS/BA highly preferred
