Job Description
Scientific Protein Laboratories is a biopharmaceutical leader in the development and cGMP compliant manufacturing of pancreatic enzymes and heparin. We have a production opening for a Process Operator – Heparin Elution 1st shift.
This position is responsible for learning, under direct supervision of the department manager or his designee, the activities necessary to manufacture Heparin Sodium Raw Material following current manufacturing instructions and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).

This position is responsible for learning, under direct supervision of the department manager or his designee, the activities necessary to manufacture Heparin Sodium Raw Material following current manufacturing instructions and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
| Responsibilities |
- Under direct supervision, follows written procedures required for the processing of Heparin Sodium Raw Material according to current Manufacturing Instructions (MIs) and SOPs.
- Maintains written records of cleaning logs, equipment tags, MIs and other pertinent records as the work is performed.
- Learns, understands and applies current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) and Good Documentation Practices (GDPs).
- Follows all SPL safety practices and procedures.
- Is proactive and carries out duties with a sense of immediacy. Must be proactive to assure strong regulatory compliance posture.
- Controls equipment and systems that process chemical substances into specified products.
