LOCATED IN MADISON, WISCONSIN
Badger Bus Lines, Inc is a 98 year old customer focused company, providing school bus transportation and charter services. As our company expands, we are seeking a motivated Charter Services Representative to service our current customer base, and to assist in our growth as the leader in school bus transportation. This opportunity provides a competitive compensation package.
Summary:
The Charter Sales Representative is responsible for the account management of inbound calls, quoting rental bus rates, all aspects of soliciting, qualifying, reserving to yield effective business. Work with the Charter Sales Manager on account management and sales support.
Expectations:
- Support the Badger Bus vision and mission in all activities.
- Represent Badger Bus and conduct all activities in a professional, business-like matter.
- Comply with all employee policies, safety policy and substance abuse prevention policy.
Duties include:
- Quoting school bus charter services
- Responding to high volume of emails in a timely and accurate manner
- Entering high volume of school bus charter orders
- Corresponding with clients via email or telephone
- Coordinating with the motor coach division on intra company charter services
- Problem solving and double checking/proofing existing charter orders
- Handle customer calls and assist in problem solving activities as appropriate
- Pursuing and collecting revenue from clients with outstanding balances.
Requirements:
- Someone who is detail-oriented and who can work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be organized with strong communication skills.
- Data entry experience a must, along with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word and Excel (5+ years preferred)
- Experience using computerized charter systems a plus.
- Flexible working hours
- Experience in the tour/travel industry / incentive market a plus.
- Acceptable Pre-Employment Drug Screen Results
- Valid Driver's License, with the ability to obtain a Commercial Drivers License
- Ability to assist in driving school bus and/or van routes
- A good Driving Record
- Acceptable Criminal Background Check Results
