Specialty Products Operator - 2nd shift

Job Description
Scientific Protein Laboratories is a biopharmaceutical leader in the development and cGMP compliant manufacturing of pancreatic enzymes and heparin. We have an immediate opening for a Production Operator to join our growing Specialty Products team!
The Operator is responsible for manufacture of SPL specialty products according to specifications.

| Responsibilities |
- Under indirect supervision, learns, understands and applies cGMP's, Standard Operating Procedures, safety practices and other pertinent material through videos, reading and on the job training to produce high quality products safely.
- Maintains written batch records, cleaning logs, equipment labels and any other pertinent records necessary to document work. Utilizes good housekeeping practices to ensure work areas are neat and sanitary.
- Under indirect supervision performs activities necessary to manufacture product. These activities may include but are not limited to solvent handling, washing and sanitizing equipment and work areas, and process equipment assembly and teardown.
- Able to operate equipment and start, run, monitor and shut down a process. Monitors process and advises superiors of any out of specification conditions.
- Works with department manager and supervisor to ensure production is completed as scheduled and maintain facility/equipment cleaning schedules.
- Adheres to established work schedules in a consistently reliable manner, and performs job responsibilities and delivers work products on a dependable and timely basis.
- Maintains in-process inventories utilizing 4th shift or equivalent.

- High School Diploma or G.E.D. required
- Up to 10 years of experience preferred
