POSITION OVERVIEW:
The primary responsibility of the Supply Chain Manager is to maintain and improve supply chain processes at the Verona facility. Supply Chain Department activities include sales order entry, materials sourcing, resource scheduling, purchasing, receiving, inventory control, and shipping.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Monitors daily Supply Chain processes including sales order entry, materials sourcing, resource scheduling, purchasing, receiving, inventory control, and shipping.
Oversees 3-5 direct reports and a total department staff of 6-10 employees. Assigns work, approves timecards, evaluates work performance. Promotes teamwork. Leads department hiring, retention, and performance management initiatives in collaboration with Human Resources and Director of Operations.
Serves as systems owner for Epicor ERP transactions in the Supply Chain department. Maintains ERP training resources (end user procedures). Runs ERP queries/reports to drive improvements. Writes and executes protocols (test scripts) to implement ERP upgrades and enhancements.
Develops departmental goals, monitors key performance indicators, and leads department initiatives related to quality, safety, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
Routinely collaborates with cross-functional departments. Coordinates work with Formulations, Operations, Quality, and Engineering to ensure on-time shipments. Works with Finance to reconcile month-end reports. Participates in additional teams and committees to support interdepartmental goals.
Reviews, updates, and approves Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as necessary. Ensures department compliance to all SOPs, company policies, and regulatory requirements.

Follows all CPI safety policies and practices.

EDUCATION/SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:
Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in business management or related field.
Minimum 3-5 years of related ERP and Supply Chain experience, preferably in pharmaceutical manufacturing or another cGMP manufacturing environment.
Proven project management skills demonstrated through successful leadership of complex projects in cross-functional team environments.
Excellent leadership skills including strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong PC skills including ERP software (preferably Epicor) and Microsoft Office software.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
Ability to prioritize and complete multiple work assignments with minimal supervision in a fast paced environment.
