Job Description
Job Title: Sales Account Manager

Primary responsibilities:
  1. Design and implement sales strategies to ensure the company meets its revenue objectives by growing new and existing accounts.
  2. Provide accurate and timely updates within Salesforce.com and use customer intelligence for account planning purposes.
  3. Identify and strategize the paths to purchase to maximize revenue and profitability and to solve deal-level challenges.
  4. Execute sales effort in an ethical and professional manner that will reflect favorably on the reputation of both the salesperson and LocknCharge.
  5. Present engaging product demonstrations via video and in person to offer insight that compels the customer to think differently about their business needs.  Travel requirement of up to 20% of time.
  6. Maintain expert knowledge of LocknCharge products and how they will simplify a deployment for schools “making life easier”.

  • Strategic thinking – Systematically solves problems and hypothesizes possible customer pain points, expectations, and implicit needs; brainstorms with team members to devise solutions to solve complex deal challenges.
  • Communication – Tailors communication to the customer’s needs with authority; effectively delivers presentations and has strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Networking – identified the right customer stakeholders and builds connections quickly to drive consensus for deals; works cooperatively with a wide range of internal stakeholders for deal success.
  • Ownership – Goes out of his or her way to complete a job and has relentless drive to achieve results; is independent, self-directed and takes initiative with minimal direction or supervision.

Preferred Skills:
  • BS/BA or equivalent work experience
  • Sales experience in the K-12 vertical
  • Familiarity with customer relationship management software and Microsoft Office Suite
