POSITION OVERVIEW
We have an opening for a Crisis Residential Program Coordinator in our Bay Side Place and Recovery House programs!  The Crisis Residential Program Coordinator (PRC) is responsible for providing professional clinical and supervisory oversight to the direct care staff working at Bayside and Recovery House. The person in this position provides culturally sensitive, recovery oriented and trauma informed supervision, and clinical support of consumers and staff. Primary duties include supervision and consultation, administrative oversight of a multi-disciplinary clinical team, program service delivery and utilization review. The Program Coordinator will provide clinical interventions to residents of the Crisis Residential Programs including direct clinical services comprised of risk assessments & safety planning, development of individual service plans, referrals for ongoing support upon discharge, and clinical documentation. The Program Coordinator is responsible for scheduling staff to cover shifts 24/7, 365 days per year and may need to cover shifts if necessary.

FOLLOWING IS ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
The Program Coordinator reports directly to the Clinical Team Leader of Bayside and Recovery House with overall program supervision by the Director. 
QUALIFICATIONS
ESSENTIAL
Education
  • Bachelors degree in a related behavioral health field
Experience
  • 3 years of experience in a related behavioral health field
  • 3 years of supervisory experience
  • Residential/Hospital experience
  • Experience working with individuals who have co-occurring disorders-both mental health and substance use disorders.
  • Demonstrated ability to balance the administrative and clinical/supervisory needs of the unit
  • Ability to bill Medicaid
  • Demonstrated commitment to provide culturally sensitive services
  • Demonstrated commitment to recovery focused principles, and provision of trauma informed services
  • Experience in managing crises
  • Ability to provide clinical supervision to a multi-disciplinary team
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills
  • Superior communication abilities
  • Demonstrated clinical experience with adults, families
  • Possession of a valid driver's license, a favorable driving record, adequate insurance (per state law) and access to a vehicle.
PREFERRED
  • Experience working with consumer’s service providers including insurance, police/law enforcement, case managers, etc.
  • Masters Degree in related behavioral health field
  • Working knowledge of DHS 34, DHS 83, as well as Chapters 51, 54/55 of the Wisconsin state statutes
  • SUD certification
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English 
RESPONSIBILITIES:
A.  Clinical Supervision
  1. Provide consultation, review, and oversight
  2. Ensure that services provided in Crisis Residential Programs are culturally sensitive and clinically appropriate.
  3. Facilitation of therapeutic groups
  4. New Hire Training
  5. Meet supervision requirements as set forth in DHS 34 & 83
  6. Responsible for completing and submitting all prior authorizations for 3rd party payers.
  7. Review documentation for accuracy and timely completion
  8. Meet CARF/CBRF/JMHC and state certification expectations
  9. Assist in facilitating coordination of services with other programs and outside agencies
  10. Conflict resolution/mediation
B.  Administrative Leadership
  1. Participate in and provide leadership to meetings, training programs and assist in development of new programming.
  2. Complete annual performance evaluations for assigned staff
  3. Participate in performance improvement and disciplinary meetings when needed
  4. Ensure that contractual obligations are being met
  5. Collaborate with supervisors to provide services and referrals across the continuum of care at JMHC
B.  General Program and Agency Duties
  1. Work actively and positively to maintain good working relationships with segments of the community, informing Clinical Team Leader and Clinical Director of problems as they arise
  2. Work to improve own cultural sensitivity
  3. Work to improve meaningful consumer involvement
  4. Participate in committees as requested
  5. Other duties as assigned by supervisor
