POSITION OVERVIEW
We have an opening for a Clinical Team Leader in our Alternative Sanctions & Clinical Assessment Unit programs! The Clinical Team Leader (SCSIII) is responsible for clinical supervision and consultation for Alternative Sanctions and Clinical Assessment Unit. This position is responsible for development and implementation of program planning, policies and procedures; coordination of services across program providers; serving as a liaison with the criminal justice and treatment system; ensuring data collection with timely, accurate reporting to state and county government. In addition, the Clinical Team Leader performs clinical backup services that are culturally and trauma sensitive, and recovery oriented, including assessment, counseling, supportive contacts and referrals to individuals who are struggling with mental health, substance use and co-occurring issues. This position works closely and collaboratively with the Outpatient Services management team and will require occasional evening work.

FOLLOWING IS ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
The Clinical Team Leader reports directly to the assigned supervisor with overall program supervision provided by the Director.
QUALIFICATIONS ESSENTIAL
Education/Licensure
Master’s degree in human services with 3 years combined related clinical and administrative/leadership experience
OR
Bachelor’s degree in human services plus 5 years combined related clinical and administrative/leadership experience
Experience
Comprehensive understanding of substance abuse and mental health issues
Comprehensive understanding of and experience working with persons in the criminal justice and correctional systems
Knowledge of supervision principles
Knowledge of community treatment resources and systems
Strong commitment to improving cultural diversity
Experience and/or knowledge of continuous quality improvement practices
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience working with a culturally diverse population
Possession of a valid driver's license, a favorable driving record, adequate insurance (per state law) and access to a vehicle.
PREFERRED
Fluency in Spanish in addition to English
Experience coordinating services among philosophically diverse systems
Experience providing staff supervision in a human-services setting
Licensed in the State of WI as a substance abuse and/or mental health clinician and/or clinical supervisor
RESPONSIBILITIES
A. Clinical Supervision
Provide clinical consultation to clinical team members to assure the clinical and cultural sensitivity of all services.
Review the performance and goals for all staff in his/her supervision group per policy.
Provide clinical back up for all staff in his/her supervision group.
Coordinate and oversee charting procedures to ensure the program's compliance.
Review documentation for accuracy and timely completion.
Facilitate the coordination of the program's services with those of other programs and outside agencies, and provide problem resolution (i.e. consumer grievances.)
B. Administrative Leadership
Provide leadership to staff, training programs and assist in development of new programming.
Assist the Clinical Team Manager in recruiting, hiring, training and evaluating staff, students and volunteers.
Approve and monitor scheduling, time off requests, training requests and other aspects of each member of his/her team.
Maintain positive external working relationships and liaison services.
Coordinate, prepare and present reports to state and county government as required.
Provide presentations; attend related meetings to represent JMHC and the Alternative Sanctions programs, as assigned.
C. Provision of Clinical Services
Provide a range of clinical services.
Complete accurate records in a timely manner.
Attend meetings as assigned.
