Position Overview:
The primary role of the Programmer / Analyst is system design and application development for Coating Place Inc.'s business systems.

Essential Job Functions:
  • Authors Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and policies as needed.
  • Authors Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) documentation as needed.
  • Works with developers and other department technical experts to determine software needs.
  • Develops in-house applications. Performs end-user training on new and existing systems.
  • Analyze, maintain, and improve upon existing software solutions as needed.
  • Manages SQL data backups per CPI's Data Backup SOP.
  • Designs, documents, and develops databases.
  • Develops reports using SSRS and other reporting Tools.
  • Follows all CPI cGMP practices, policies, and procedures.
  • Follows all CPI safety practices, policies, and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education/Skills/Knowledge Required:
  • Associate degree in Information Technology OR
  • 0-3 years of experience as in Application Development or similar role.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Strong desire to learn.
  • SQL Development using TSQL and other scripting tools.
  • Familiarity with .Net Framework, Crystal Reports, and SSRS desirable.
  • Familiarity with Programming Languages (e.g. VB, Perl, C#) desirable.
  • Comprehensive written and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and problem-solving skills required.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with team members, co-workers, and/or clients.
